Training and consulting customized to meet your needs

Helping nonprofits help themselves

Today’s nonprofit organizations face growing demand for their services, along with budget constraints that require them to do more with less.

At Nonprofit Works, we see our role as helping our clients develop the skills, tools, and strategies they need to help themselves — and the communities they serve.

We work with you to identify areas of strength and potential growth, then build capacity to enhance overall effectiveness and create a more sustainable organization.

Our mission is to help you focus on what’s really important: your mission, programs, and goals.

Our services

We offer a wide variety of training, workshops, and consulting services for individuals and groups:

Organizational success begins with clearly identifying your goals, outlining the path to achieving them, and always knowing where you are along the journey.

Successful grant applications require program planning, identifying grant opportunities, developing relationships with potential funders, matching needs and goals, and tracking results.

Every organization needs to reach the people it serves, promote and achieve its goals, and document its role and value to supporters and the broader community.

A sustainable organization requires a governing board that understands its roles and responsibilities, knows how to work with staff, and is able to recruit new members.

Organizations that collect or use data involving human subjects must comply with state and federal regulations designed to ensure the rights and welfare of human subjects.

“I thought the attention given to different areas of board management was great! You were able to cover many of the board issues I have dealt with in the past year, and I feel I’m on the right track.”
