A Productive Board of Directors

Most spend time helping their organizations be more effective, but few give the same attention to how the board could do its job better. A truly effective board understands its role and responsibilities in the context of the entire organization, and is willing to monitor its own performance on a regular basis. Though it can be difficult at first, boards that pay attention to how they're doing find it makes their job easier. Topics include:
