Maureen Yee Joins Nonprofit Works Staff with a Focus on Fund Development and Program Planning
(Saratoga Springs, NY, March 7) — Maureen Yee has joined NPW’s consulting staff as of March 1, with 25 years of experience in various aspects of philanthropy, most recently as a major gifts officer for Saratoga Hospital. Maureen will be focusing on grant writing, fund development, and program planning.
She has previously served as the director of development for Whitney Young Health, where she was responsible for both fund development and marketing and communications, and as director of grants at the St. Peter’s Hospital Foundation, where she managed an annual grant portfolio of more than $2 million.
Prior to that, Maureen administered the Community Foundation for the Capital Region’s $2.5 million annual grant budget. In 2001, she established the Foundation’s Grantmakers Alliance of Northeastern New York, where she worked with more than 25 foundations, corporations, and United Way chapters to increase effective philanthropy.
“We’re thrilled to have someone with Maureen’s background and experience joining Nonprofit Works,” said NPW president Paul Mastrodonato. “Few people can match her qualifications and record of success on both sides of the grantmaking process, and her extensive knowledge in that area will be a huge asset to our clients.”
Maureen joins another recent addition to Nonprofit Works’ consulting staff, Mary Pieper, who focuses on both fund development and organizational management, including board training and executive coaching.
